The assignment is expected to last 3-months (Maximum: 480 hours). Work will be on-site, at a Peninsula federal government facility.

Pay Rate/Salary: $15,000 Firm

 

Skills/Education Requirements:

To be successful a candidate must have at least the following qualifications:

•                   US Citizenship or Documented Permanent Residency

•                   A Masters degree or equivalent preparation in statistics.

•                   Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

•                   The ability to work with large data sets.

•                   Knowledge and experience in SAS and SQL are a MUST.

•                   Knowledge and understanding of biostatistics.

•                   The ability to work with a biostatistician.

•                   Experience using a Clinical Decision Support (CDS) system application known as ATHENA-CDS.

•                   Experience adhering to government data privacy and security requirements.

 

The selection process will include:

•                   Completion of a Supplemental Questionnaire (to be provided after successful screening)

•                   An onsite interview.

•                   An assessment of computer software, interpersonal, and oral communication skills.

•                   A satisfactory interview of references

•                   A government security background investigation

 

Duties of the assignment will include:

•                   Data analyses of clinician adherence to guideline-recommendations.

•                   Assembling data for analyses.

•                   Performing analyses under the guidance of a biostatistician.

•                   Providing comprehensive data dictionaries for all datasets.

•                   Documenting all written code.
