Abstract of Position:
Group Description:
The Profitability group’s role is to create, analyze, and produce quarterly profitability reports on product profitability, client profitability, and other profitability analysis. The Profitability group is also responsible for working with all areas of the organization to develop breakeven analysis, business plans, pricing analysis, and any other uses of profitability data.
The profitability models used to produce product and customer reporting are based on input from the entire organization; deriving its allocations for revenue on how revenue is generated and for expenses on factors that drive the costs of the organization.
Job Description:
§ Provide technical support and business analysis into the profitability reporting and profitability methodology models.
§ Manage the quarterly production process, including but not limited to: Manage inflows of driver data, update models with current allocation flows, run profitability models, analyze data, produce quarterly reports.
§ Act as a resource for the organization, produce ad-hoc reports and analyze and provide insight into the profitability data that is produced.
§ Detail oriented while understanding the big picture direction of both the group and the organization.
§ Requires the ability to collaborate across all corporate functions on complex issues driving to timely results.
§ Ability to independently seek answers to produce quality results without extensive supervision and direction.
