Abstract of Position:
The Statistician is an important member of the Measurement Science group. He/she is involved in doing Research & Development work as well as supporting ongoing Production. This person is well versed in a statistical software program such as SAS, SPSS, or STATA and has basic introduction to Oracle databases and SQL queries. This individual also has Research Methodology and/or Data Collection and Analysis training/experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong quantitative skills to apply his or her talents in a high energy environment. The required skill set includes: Highly detail oriented, strong commitment to timely execution of tasks; Experience with SAS or another statistical analysis software package; Experience or training with SQL a plus; Strong understanding of principles of data quality analysis, research design, survey methodology, regression-based modeling, and sampling techniques.
