Position Title:   Associate Director, Statistical Programming

 

Position Description:

The Associate Director of Statistical Programming will provide programming support for clinical trials for regulatory submissions, product launch and annual reports.  Under the supervision of Director of Biometrics, he/she will build the in-house analyses infrastructure, programming team and work collaboratively with Clinical, Regulatory and CROs to meet project deliverables and timelines for clinical data reporting and quality checking during study conduct. Provides timely support to the study team on all programming matters according to the project plan and develop/review programming specifications. Performs independent validations of key analyses produced by the CRO. Develops and maintains the infrastructure for project files of SAS datasets and SAS codes. Provides input to CRF/eCRF design and review edit check programming specifications.  This position will direct CRO or other programmers to ensure that statistical programming milestones are consistently achieved.

The Associate Director will be able to demonstrate the following

·          Ability to Supervise other programmers

 

 

Education/Experience Requirements:

·          MS in related major

·          Minimum 10 years of experience in statistical programming

·          Demonstrated expertise in SAS programming language, report generation and standards for programming and validation.

·          Experience with CDISC data standards required. NDA filings experience desired.

·          Understanding of regulatory guidelines for data analyses and reporting

·          Strong leadership skills and ability to effectively manage projects and timelines.

·          A team-player and possess “can-do” attitude when facing challenges.
