NAME OF POSITION: SAS Project Manager
LOCATION: Oakland, California

Summary:
This position will manage a team of approximately eight programmer/analysts who provide reporting and analysis in the area of Medicare Risk Adjustment. This position will schedule responsibilities for monthly production reporting. They will receive and document requests for ad-hoc reports and analysis. They will work with customers to define requirements, and will prioritize and assign tasks. They will communicate progress and issues to stakeholders. They will participate in meetings to define long-term requirements. They will be responsible for personnel management, process improvement, policies and standards.
Qualification:
SAS programming experience is required. IBM mainframe experience is required. Prior experience with supervising staff is required. Strong oral and written communication skills. Process-oriented, able to design, improve and track processes. Excellent analytical skills, able to read complex documents or reports, and identify key points. Knowledge of healthcare industry is a plus. Knowledge of finance or accounting is a plus.
