Name of Position: Data Analyst (San Francisco)

 

Responsibilities:

·          Acquire data from customers, 3d party data providers, and sources internal to ISO

·          Program and execute data management and sanitation activities; geocoding, address standardization, data appending, data subsetting, joins, etc.

·          Combine data from multiple sources to create data sets suitable for predictive analytics

·          Apply analytic models to customer datasets in support of pilot testing and production activities

·          Maintain documentation of programs and data; maintain metadata

 

Skills and Qualifications:

·          BS/BA

·          3+ years experience working with large databases and SAS datasets

·          3+ years experience as a SAS programmer; other programming experience a plus

·          Proficient using SQL to extract data from and to load data to databases

·          High level understanding of statistical modeling and machine learning and experience providing data support for these activities

·          Experience working with geographic data

·          Strong analytic and problem solving skills

·          Strong attention to detail and documentation skills

·          Good communication skills; able to communicate effectively with a highly technical modeling team
